A coaching staff dedicated to Korean swimming sensation Park Tae-hwan has been launched.

SK Telecom said Thursday that it will sponsor the special coaching staff assigned to the Beijing swimming gold medalist. The firm said it will pay all expenses for Park's training at home and abroad and participation in international competitions until August 2012.

The coaching staff comprises six people including two training partners and a therapist.

Park resumed training late last month as he prepares for the National Sports Festival, the nation’s largest sporting event that begins Friday.
