Striker Park Joining France's AS Monaco

South Korean striker Park Joo-young has signed with France’s AS Monaco Football Club.

The former FC Seoul striker signed a four-year contract on Monday worth about three-point-three billion won. That’s around three million U.S. dollars.

His annual wage reportedly stands at around 650-million won, or about 604-thousand U.S. dollars.

Shortly after signing the deal, Park was assigned the uniform number ten.

Park is the fifth South Korean player to join the French football league.

Established in 1919, AS Monaco has won seven league and five French Cup titles. The team also made it to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League in 2004.
