Koreas to Play World Cup Qualifier in Shanghai

A regional World Cup qualifying match between South and North Korea is scheduled to be held in Shanghai.

The Korea Football Association in Seoul said Thursday that the venue for the qualifier slated for September tenth has been moved to the Chinese city from the original venue of Pyongyang, North Korea.

This is the second time that North Korea has moved the venue of a World Cup qualifying match with the South to Shanghai. It did so last March when it refused to allow South Korea to raise its flag or play its national anthem in Pyongyang.
