S. Korea Wins Bronze in Men's Badminton Doubles

South Korea won a bronze medal in the men's badminton doubles event on Saturday.

Nine days into the Beijing Olympics, South Korea's Hwang Ji-man and Lee Jae-jin defeated Jonas Rasmussen and Paaske Lars of Denmark two games to one.

The men's handball team advanced to the quarterfinals after beating Egypt 24-22.

On Saturday evening, Jang Mi-ran will compete for gold in the women's over-75 kilogram weightlifting competition.

As of 2 p.m. Saturday, South Korea has won six gold, nine silver and four bronze medals, ranking fourth after China, the United States and Germany.
