A team of Korean researchers has developed a technology to produce semiconductors or displays by controlling the flow of photons.

Led by Prof. Yang Seung-man at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, the team developed a technology to artificially mass-produce photons using nano technology.
Photons are expected as a next-generation material for manufacturing displays and semiconductors.

The technology was introduced in academic journal Nature Photonics.
