S. Korea to Seek Gold in Men's Weightlifting, Wrestling

South Korea will compete in 16 events on the fifth day of the Beijing Olympics Wednesday.

The nation will aim for gold in the men’s 77-kilogram weightlifting event and the men’s 66-kilogram Greco-Roman wrestling finals, while Lee Ho-rim will try for a medal in the women’s 25-meter pistol competition.

Also on Wednesday, the nation’s soccer squad will play Honduras while the baseball team will compete against the United States. The women’s handball team is also scheduled to face Sweden.

Meanwhile, Korean archers will seek a medal sweep during the men's individual competition.
