South Korean swimmer Park Tae-hwan has won a silver medal in the men's 200-meter freestyle event.

In a competition held on Tuesday morning, the 19-year-old finished with a time of 1:44:85.

The gold medal went to Michael Phelps of the United States.

On Sunday, Park won a gold medal in the 400-meter freestyle, giving the nation its first swimming gold in the nation's Olympic history.
