South Korea has won the gold medal in the men's team archery event at the Beijing Olympics.
In a competition held on Monday evening at the Olympic Green Archery Field in Beijing, the team consisting of Im Dong-hyun, Lee Chang-hwan and Park Kyung-mo, scored 227 points, beating Italy, who scored 225 points.
The gold is the third straight Olympic victory for the Korean men's archery team since the 2000 Sydney Games.
Earlier on Sunday, South Korea won a gold medal in the women's archery team event.
Wang Ki-chun garnered a silver medal in the men's under-73 kilogram judo event. In the women's fencing competition, South Korea's Nam Hyun-hee added another silver medal.
South Korea is currently in second place for total medal standings with four gold medals, followed by the United States with three golds. China leads the medal rankings with eight golds.
