The women's archery team defeated China Sunday, 224-215, to win its sixth straight Olympic gold medal.

Sharpshooter Park Sung-hyun hit a perfect-ten shot with the final arrow. The stone-faced master showed the same dead-eye precision as she did in 2004, when her final shot for ten points gave Korea a thrilling one-point victory over the Chinese.

Korea has won every women's archery title in the Olympics since the team competition was added in 1988.

Rain in Beijing did not affect Korea's concentration, as Park and teammates Yun Ok-hee and Joo Hyun-jung reaffirmed their country's superiority in the sport.

After the final arrow, the three calmly exchanged smiles and high fives with each other and staff and waved to the crowd.

Park is the reigning Olympic champion and tied the Olympic record of 673 in the individual ranking round set by Lina Herasymenko of the Ukraine in 1996.

Park also holds the world record of 682 set in the same round in 2004.
