Korea Eyes Gold Medals in Judo, Shooting

Korea will begin its Beijing Olympic run on Saturday taking its first shot at gold medals in shooting and judo.

Kim Chan-me and Kim Yeo-oul will be on the hunt for gold in the women’s ten-meter air rifle competition, while Jin Jong-oh will take a shot at the men's 50-meter air pistol gold.

In judo, Choi Min-ho will compete for the top spot in the men's 60-kilogram class.

Korean women handball players will have their first round qualifier with Russians, while Park Tae-hwan will attempt to take home swimming gold for the first time in Korean history during the men's 400-meter qualifier.
