The opening ceremoney of the Beijing Olympics will be rehearsed three times, starting Wednesday at 8 p.m., in the main Olympic stadium.

A Beijing daily says the other two rehearsals are scheduled for August second and fifth.

For the Wednesday trial, people who have tickets to attend the rehearsal can use transportation free of charge, including 28 exclusive Olympic bus lines and 48 regular bus lines.

Beijing revealed the opening ceremony would feature spectacular fireworks, the Olympic theme song, dance and traditional martial arts performances.
