Doctors have successfully conducted a liver transplant surgery on a 60-day-old infant. The baby became the youngest liver transplant recipient in the nation's history.

A medical team led by Seo Kyung-seok at Seoul National University Hospital said that part of the liver from the infant’s father was transplanted into the infant about a month ago.

The team said the infant has made a full recovery after the procedure.
