The opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is ten days away.

Under the slogan “One World, One Dream,” the games will open on August eighth for a 17-day run, bringing together athletes from 204 countries.

Korean athletes are in the final stage of training and preparation for the global event.

Korea aims to win ten gold medals and rank in the top ten of medal recipients, as it did four years ago.

The Korean team comprised of 267 athletes will leave for Beijing on August first.
