Korean Athletes Aim for Top-10 Finish in Beijing

An elite group of Korea's Olympic athletes got together Wednesday, pledging to boost their country to a coveted top-ten finish at the Beijing Games just a month away.

The Korean Olympic Committee held a launch ceremony for the Olympic team at the national training complex in eastern Seoul.

The ceremony began with a children's cheering squad performance, and the presentation of training suits to be worn by the athletes during the Olympics.

The committee also opened the camp to the press and held a news meeting.

Korea aims to finish second in Asia and rank among the top ten finishers in Beijing.
