4-way Meeting to Discuss Joint March

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will hold a four-way meeting with China and South and North Korea to push for the two Koreas to march together at the Beijing Olympics.

South Korea’s National Olympic Committee (NOC) President Lee Yeon-taek told reporters Tuesday that the IOC and the Olympic committees of the three nations will hold the meeting soon.

IOC President Jacques Rogge recently asked the NOC to arrange a joint Olympic march between the two Koreas.

Athletes from the two Koreas have marched together at international games eight times since the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.
