The Korea Baseball Organization has released the preliminary roster of the national baseball team for the Beijing Olympic Games.

The KBO and the Korea Baseball Association on Tuesday released the roster of 33 players including slugger Lee Seung-yeop of Japan’s Yomiuri Giants and outfielder Choo Shin-soo of the U.S.’ Cleveland Indians. The talented group will be under the tutelage of national team coach Kim Kyung-moon.

After making some cuts, the organization plans to release the final roster of 24 players by next Tuesday.
