Korea Football Association Vice Chairman Lee Hoe-taek has been selected as the chairman of the KFA’s technical committee.

The KFA expected Lee to help mitigate an organizational crisis caused by the resignations of all the technical committee members.

Lee will help with the administration of the national soccer team taking part in its final regional qualifying matches for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the South Africa World Cup.

Lee headed the committee from June 2004 to November 2005.
