The nation's first astronaut will return home next week after completing a physical and readjusting to normal gravity.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology said Friday that the astronaut Yi Soyeon and her backup Ko San will arrive at Incheon International Airport on Monday.

Since her return from space on Saturday, she's been staying at the Gagarin Space Center outside of Moscow.

Yi will visit Education and Science Minister Kim Doh-yeon on Tuesday. She'll also hold a news conference and take part in various symposiums.
