World's 1st Cloned Dog to Become Father

Seoul National University says the world's first cloned dog "Snuppy" will become a father next month.

The university’s College of Veterinary Medicine, which created the dog, said Thursday it had used sperm from the three-year-old Snuppy to impregnate two other cloned dogs, Bona and Hope.

Ultrasound tests found that Bona and Hope, now one-month pregnant, are in good health.

If either is able to produce a litter, it will mark the world's first successful breeding of cloned dogs.
