S. Korean Company Wins Top Honor at Int’l Inventions Exhibit

A domestic company has taken the grand prize at the 36th International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products at Geneva Palexpo in Switzerland.

Incasolution won the prestigious event with its apparatus for controlling standby power. Its product is a solution designed to save energy on personal computers and digital devices.

Jean-Luc Vincent, the founder and president of the exhibition, noted that this year’s event had many greener inventions. He said the South Korean company captured attention and received praise from the entire panel of judges.

This year’s exhibition had some one thousand inventions of 720 exhibitors from 45 countries including individuals, universities and companies. The five-day exhibit ends Sunday.
