Lasers and fireworks will shine Saturday to commemorate the opening of Seoul's World Cup Stadium, the venue that will kick off next year's global soccer tournament co-hosted by South Korea and Japan.
The show will start at 5:30 p.m. with the world's tallest fountain shooting a stream 202 meters high while barges and laser projectors color the water with lights.
A five-minute fireworks show is planned at the end of a friendly match between South Korea and Croatia.
The World Cup Stadium at Sangam-dong, western Seoul, is the largest soccer-dedicated venue in Asia.
