A domestic research team has developed a transparent electrode that could reduce the cost of displays used in computers and mobile phones.
The Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute said Thursday that its researchers developed the new electrodes using a so-called "one-component" solution.
The liquid one-component solution is expected to reduce display production costs by up to 50 percent.
