The national baseball team will play at the Beijing Olympics for the first time in eight years, after finishing second on Friday.

In the seventh and final qualifier in Taiwan Friday, Korea beat Taiwan four to three to finish second in the qualifying tournament with six wins and a loss.

The team will return home Sunday and be recalled in late July to prepare for the Olympics.
