S. Korea Wins 2 Golds in Top Badminton Tournament

The men’s and women’s national badminton teams both grabbed gold medals in the All-England Championship in Birmingham Monday.

Jung Jae-sung and Lee Yong-dae won the gold in the men’s doubles after beating fellow Koreans Lee Jae-jin and Hwang Ji-man, two-to-one in the final match.

The women’s doubles team, Lee Kyung-won and Lee Hyo-jung, took the gold after beating their Chinese rivals two-to-one.

South Korea won a total of two gold medals, one silver and one bronze at the British tournament, which is regarded as the sport’s most prestigious event.
