Astronaut Ko to Bring 50 Items to Space

The nation’s first astronaut will bring a Korean national flag and U.N. flag to space in April.

The Science Ministry and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute said the astronaut Ko San will bring 50 items to space. The list includes 10,000-won bills, an astronaut suit and scarves printed with a Korean poem and an ancient star map.

He will also bring postcards and stamps, which will mark his trip into space as Korea's first astronaut.

Ko will carry out 18 tasks during his ten-day stay at the International Space Station.
