Korea's national baseball team will go head-to-head with South Africa in March to compete for a ticket to the Beijing Olympic Games.

According to the play-off schedule announced Wednesday by the International Baseball Federation, the world governing body for baseball, Team Korea will play South Africa on March seventh.

Then, Korea will face such powerhouses as Australia and Mexico, before a final game with host Taiwan on March 14th.

In the continental play-offs, eight national teams will compete in a full league for one of three tickets to Beijing.
