The South Korean Internet equipment supplier Posdata says it's been certified for WiBro base units and handsets in Singapore.

WiBro is a domestically developed technology that enables users to maintain high-speed Internet connections even while on the move.

Posdata officials said that after obtaining certification from the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, their firm has set up a regional office in Kuala Lumpur. The high-speed wireless equipment maker will use the base in the Malaysian capital to advance into the Southeast Asian market.

They went on to say that Posdata will actively promote its products in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and neighboring countries.
