International Data Corporation says the nation's information technology market can expect low growth next year.

IDC Korea has issued forecasts for next year in ten IT-related areas, saying it expected IT investment to fall due to global economic uncertainties. The research firm forecast global economic growth to range between five-and-a-half and six percent, lower than this year's six-point-nine percent. It projected Korea's growth at four-point-six percent, up from three-point-seven percent this year.

IDC also said software and services would continue their IT market lead. It also expected that businesses would grow in importance as customers for IT-related products.
