Scots to Seek Cooperation in Stem Cells

A group of Scottish stem cell experts, including the creator of the world's first cloned sheep Dolly, Ian Wilmut, will visit Korea next week to discuss bilateral research cooperation.

The Science and Technology Ministry in Seoul said Sunday that it will hold a Korea-Scotland workshop Wednesday on joint stem cell research at Yonsei University's School of Medicine in Seoul.

Wilmut and other stem cell experts from the University of Edinburgh will discuss promoting joint research with their Korean counterparts.
