President Roh Moo-hyun held talks in his office with the chairman of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) on Monday.

He discussed with IPC Chairman Peter Craven the results of the organization's regular assembly held last week in Seoul and about sports for the disabled in general.

The president thanked the official for choosing Seoul as the conference venue, praising the IPC for its activities to encourage those disabled and not disabled alike.

Craven presented an honorary decoration to Mr. Roh in appreciation of his dedication to the paralympics. Previous recipients include Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge.
