Park Wins Another Gold at Swimming World Cup

Korean swimming star Park Tae-hwan has won another gold medal in the fifth round of the Swimming World Cup held in Stockholm, Sweden.

Park placed first in the 400-meter-freestyle, Wednesday, coming in at three-minutes, 42-point-14 seconds. Although roughly two seconds slower than his three-minute-39-point-99 second win at the third round of the world cup in Australia earlier this month, it was good enough for the gold.

The world record for the short-course competition is three-minutes 34-point-58 seconds set by Australia’s Grant Hackett.
