The national soccer team notched its second win in the Asian qualifying round for next year's Olympics in Beijing after it beat Bahrain one-to-zero on Saturday.

Kang Min-soo's header in the 64th minute clinched the win.

The victory in the Middle Eastern country put Korea atop Group B following its two-to-one opening victory over Uzbekistan in Seoul last month.

Korea has won all four matches so far with Bahrain in Olympic qualifiers with no preliminary round losses against any opponent since 1992.

The third qualifier is against Syria in Seoul on Wednesday.

The national team hopes to claim its sixth straight ticket to the Olympics.
