Korean female pro boxer Kim Joo-hee has taken the world title of the World Boxing Association.

In a WBA light flyweight championship match held Friday in Seoul, Kim beat Japan's Yukiwa Sakurada in a technical knockout at 1:17 into Round Seven.

With Kim's victory, the nation now boasts seven female world boxing champions.
