Korean athletes and officials participating in this year's Summer Universiade in Bangkok pledged to give their all during a ceremony on Monday ahead of the opening of the games on August eighth.

The Korean delegation comprises 222 athletes and 67 officials. The nation's athletes will compete in 15 events including track and field, swimming, basketball, gymnastics and shooting.

The main contingent will leave Seoul Saturday for the eleven-day tournament in the Thai capital.
