Archer Lim Dong-hyun has won a gold medal in the men’s individual event at the World Outdoor Archery Championships in Leipzig, Germany.

In the final match, Lim beat his Russian opponent one-ten to one-oh-eight.

The Korean archer grabbed two golds in the event including the group title.

Meanwhile, Park Seong-hyun advanced to the final round of the women's individual competition but came up short of the title at second place.

In this year’s world championships, Korean archers won the men and women's group titles, along with a gold in the men’s individual and a silver in the women’s individual.

All members of the national archery team have qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
