Korea Plays Bahrain in Asian Cup

Korea will look to stay in the Asian Cup chase Sunday against Bahrain in its second Group D game.

The Taegeuk Warriors are ranked 51st in the world and have only lost once in 12 games against the Bahrainis, who are ranked 100th.

Saudi Arabia leads Group D after beating host Indonesia 2-1 Saturday. Korea and Saudi Arabia played to a 1-1 draw in their first game.

Bahrain was upset by Indonesia in its first game, 2-1, and also needs a win to stay alive in the tournament.

Korea last won the Asian Cup in 1954, and reached the quarterfinals of the 2004 tournament in China.
