U.S. broadcaster ABC has hailed the transactions settlement technology of Korean-made mobile phones as innovative in a recent television program.

Domestic company Danal, whose technology allows phone users to make payments via cell phone, says that ABC News the firm's technology "highly innovative" in a segment showing how the payment system works.

A U.S. information technology official was quoted on the program as saying that Americans will also be able to use the service soon, predicing that it will be a hit with consumers.
