Korea, Bahrain, Saudi Boycott Indonesian Stadium

The national soccer team has joined Bahrain and Saudi Arabia in refusing to practice at an Indonesian stadium, saying that grass conditions on the stadium field are unacceptable.

According to a Korean soccer team official, the three countries agreed to boycott exercises at the Police Stadium in Indonesia, which is one of the co-hosts of the Asian Football Confederation Asian Cup 2007.

The three countries have asked Indonesia to change their practice field, claiming that some of their players had injured their ankles due to poor field conditions.

The AFC has accepted their demand and allowed the three countries to use another facility.
