Korean scientists say they have found that proteins acquired from stem cells are effective in regenerating skin.

Sungkyunkwan University dermatology professor Kim Won-suk and his research team made the finding in a cooperative effort with bio venture firm Prostemics.

The research results will likely be used for the development of anti-aging cosmetics and skin drugs.

The finding will be published in the online edition of the Journal of Dermatological Science in August.
