A preparatory delegation has left for Guatemala City to make a last push for Pyeongchang's bid to host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

Twelve representatives will make final preparations until the main 250-member delegation arrives in the Guatemalan capital on June 29th, anticipating the final selection next week by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The committee will select the host city at its annual general assembly, which opens on July fourth. The host city will be announced the next morning after the Pyeongchang delegation makes its final presentation.
