Pyeongchang's bidding committee for the 2014 Winter Olympics will send a small delegation to Guatemala next week ahead of the vote to decide on a host city.

The committee said Friday that around ten members will leave for the Central American nation on Monday to make preparations, with some two-hundred-50 committee members and a cheering squad set to arrive in Guatemala next Friday.

The International Olympic Committee will decide on the host city for the 2014 Winter Olympics at its general assembly in Guatemala on July 4th.

Korea's Pyeongchang is up against Sochi, Russia and Salzburg, Austria in the tight race to win the Olympic bid.
