The national under-20 soccer team aims to advance to at least the semifinals in the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals that begin July first in Canada.

During a photo session Friday in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, team coach Cho Dong-hyun pledged that his team would do its best to reach their goal.

South Korea is in Group D with powerhouse Brazil, Poland and the United States. The national team will face the U.S. on July first, Brazil on the fourth and Poland on the seventh.
