Korea’s national soccer team has been placed in Group B with Bahrain, Syria and Uzbekistan for the final regional qualifiers for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The Asian Football Confederation held the final draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday.

Group A consists of Iraq, Lebanon, North Korea and Australia, while Group C is made up of Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Vietnam.

The four teams of each group will hold a home-and-away league from August 22nd. Only the top finisher in each group will advance to the Olympic finals.
