Premier Leaguers Encourage Youth Soccer Team

Park Ji-sung, Lee Young-pyo and two other South Korean players from the English Premier League have come together to encourage the national youth soccer team ahead of its run for the world championship.

At a luncheon on Monday with Korea Football Association chief Chung Mong-joon, the experienced soccer stars advised the young players to eliminate fear ahead of big games.

Under the leadership of head coach Cho Dong-hyeon, the youth team comprising players 20 years of age or younger will play for the world championship in Canada at the end of June.

Park Kyung-hwan’s team of those 17 and under will play in another international competition starting August 18th.
