Korea Makes Semis in Women's Asian B-Ball Tourney

The national women's basketball team has advanced to the semifinals in an Asian championship tournament organized by the International Federation of Amateur Basketball, or FIBA.
On the fifth day of the 22nd FIBA Asia Championship for Women, which is also a qualifier for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Korea beat China 83-to-80.
Korea has won all five games it has played in the tournament, advancing to the semifinals at the top of Group A.
Korea will face the fourth-ranked country in its group on Saturday for a ticket to the final.
