Soccer Tourney to Feature 8 Int'l Teams

Eight teams will compete in the soccer tournament Peace Cup Korea.
Organizers said Sunday that seven major clubs representing Europe, South America and Asia will compete with Korea's Seongnam Ilhwa.
The third Peace Cup Korea competition held every two years will run July 12 to 21 in six cities, including Seoul and Suwon.
The eight teams are Reading FC and the Bolton Wanderers of England Shimizu S-Pulse of Japan Lyon of France Udinese of Italy Chivas de Guadalajara of Mexico and River Plate of Argentina.
French league champion Lyon is a regular participant in the tournament, which was launched in 2003.
Korean player Seol Ki-hyeon is a member of Reading FC.
