Mountaineer Hur Young-ho has scaled the Himalayan peak of Mount Everest for a third time.

To mark the 20th anniversary of his first scaling of the world's highest mountain, Hur reached the summit Thursday morning via the Nepal route.

The South Korean climber originally planned to stay a night at the summit, weather permitting, but decided against the idea due to a lack of oxygen.
