Mini Youth Soccer Tourney in June

The nation will host an eight-nation youth soccer tournament that is set to open June 16th and will run for eight days as a prelude to the upcoming under-17 FIFA youth soccer World Cup in August.

The mini tourney will be held in six Korean cities - Ulsan, Suwon, Goyang, Cheonan, Changwon and Gwangyang. It will feature teams who advanced to the youth World Cup's main round: Japan, Ghana, New Zealand, Brazil, the United States, Nigeria and South Korea.

The winners of each four-team group will meet each other for a final match.

And they will return again when Korea hosts the main round of the youth soccer World Cup in August.
