‘Midfielder Park’s Absence to Deal Blow to ManU’

A British newspaper says that midfielder Park Ji-sung of Manchester United may be unable to play for up to one year due to a knee injury.

The Korean soccer star injured his knee last month, and has not played since March 31st.

The Daily Mail reported that Park's injury is more serious than expected, which it said has dealt a blow to the Premier League team.

According to the newspaper, Park has flown to the U.S. for surgery. But no prognosis will be available until the surgeon can determine the extent of ligament damage in Park's knee.
