Fulham Seeks to Bring in More Korean Players

English Premier League football club Fulham is reportedly seeking to bring in more Korean players in addition to striker Lee Chun-soo.

The club recently proposed that the Ulsan Tigers lease the striker for one year.

Sports agent Kim Dong-gook, who is helping Lee find a European team, said Thursday that
Fulham last month signed a three-year sponsorship contract with LG Electronics with the stipulation that the club would hire Korean players during the contract period.

Kim said that Fulham officials last month visited South Korea to watch the national soccer team’s friendly match against Uruguay, among other matches. He added that he had recommended Lee and a couple of other players to LG.
